Any Harry Potter Fans on Here?

Just wondering if there are any Harry Potter fans in a BMW forum. Apparently there's a London play that's the next installment after Deathly Hallows that takes place 19 years after the last book in the series and is considered the 8th installment (cursed child). You can buy the script on Amazon. Also, didn't know this but Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was a book JK Rowling wrote back in 2001 and referred to in the first Harry Potter book. The movie is based on material from the book and is a sort of prequel to the Harry Potter series. There's supposed to be more films coming out. So not exactly a film adaptation of a book just a spinoff.

I'm a huge fan, always been! Those were the fist books i bought my kids and read them to them, later they learned English by reading them on the original language.

I absolutely love the series and the translators of the series.

The fantastic beasts was a good addition to the series. I have to find the book in Finnish first before i let the kids see the movie

. All in all, jkr is my hero. She got kids hooked in books!

Moderate fan here, but my third-grade daughter is a huge fan. She read all the books last year (including all the ancillary books: Cursed Child script, Fantastic Beasts, etc.) then wanted to watch the movies. I was a little concerned that once she watched the movies she would lose the imagination that the books provided. So I made her read all the books again before she could watch the movies. Now she appreciates both the books and the movies.

Ha, I'm a bit worried since my kids say their favorite character is Voldemort, and their life goal is to invent a clock they can use to rob the library.

No, it's inconceivable that a large group of people would have anyone in it who likes one of the largest pop culture phenomena of the 2000s.

Anybody sporting some cool HP trunk badges? Surely SOMEBODY must have done a 'powered by //Magic' play on the m-stickers? Or is good taste not yet quite dead?

As said, I'm a huge fan, but I'm a fan because they are books. The process of reading a book is hard for a kid, and when you witness your own being sucked in completely, the feeling is epic.

The absolute joy a book can give you no matter what your preferred genre is means a person sits down and just reads. I'm dyslexic bigly so seeing my kids reading very early has been even a bigger joy thanks to the relief of them not having my condition.
