Front Upper Arms
Hi,
Just got my car back from a service at main dealer E91 335d, they have written on invoice that the front upper arms have sought play in them. The car has done 60k and is a 10plate, can these be replaced easy enough and am I best going to the m3 items? Does the tracking need altering after this? Thanks in advance! |

They are pretty easy to replace. However, if you want the m3 arm, you'll need to get the upper arms and the lower arms.
You will need a geo after doing the work, yes |

Thanks for the reply.
I've just re-read the invoice and it actually says upper rear control arm. Is there any advantage of adding a m3 item or just replacing like for like? Thanks |

upper rear control arm? So are we talking front of the car or rear now?
On the rear of the car, i wouldn't bother with the M bits. If you're doing the front of the car, do the M bits. If you're going to swap out non-M bits for M bits, you need to do them all. The M arms are a different length to the non-M ones. |
