May I have a vote of confidence from you

I put a $500 deposit toward my 2008 E92 Xi for European Delivery.

MSRP is $46,970
My price is $44,460

$2510 below invoice for the end of April delivery. Am I doing OK? Since I did not negotiate this price at all on the phone, he just gave this price to me. I thought it sounds OK? Only down side is that the dealer is a few thousand miles away from me.

TIA

Right now 1K over European Delivery invoice is the going rate. Punch your numbers through and see how much over ED invoice your deal is.

Sounds a little high and MSRP isn't invoice. I might be confused but you need to find the invoice price.

Thanks gentlemen.

The invoice price $43210. The dealer makes $1,250. I thought it is a bit high to going through the trouble remotley. I would rather order from my local dealer.

That's the US invoice, not European Delivery invoice. The ED invoice for that car should be about $41,000 or so. Add $1000 to that and you should be paying about $42k + TTL for the car. If you're paying $44k+ you might as well buy the car here because ED will not offer you any saving at all.

Kenny, are you sure?

The base invoice for E92 Xi is $36,450. I have all the option except Step and navigation. The options come to $5,985 plus $775 destination charge.

BTW, what can I do with my production number?

Thanks.

If MSRP is $46,970, then invoice should be about $41,000 or so. ED invoice is usually about $5700 less than US MSRP. The difference in invoice and msrp for the options will increase that $5700 difference. Below is where you can download all the wholesale prices for cars & options. Let me know if you have any questions.

Kenny, Thanks for the link. I will do some homework and make sure the number is right and then go from there.

Cheers.
