Does anyone know if the Dinan Sport Performance Tuner, sku # D440-0010, is compatible with a 2012 335i Coupe Convertible? Dinan's website only says it is for the "F" series cars, but the 2012 E93 has the same N55 engine.

Same goes for the Burger JB+...?

OK, but what exactly is different for it not to be compatible if the cars are using the same exact engine?

not to be captain obvious here but If it was compatible with the E series it would probably say it in the description. Just because they have the same engine doesnt mean the placement of components are the same, or the cable harnesses, intake placement is different so the maf, tmap sensors and all that are possibly different too, i mean have you looked at the engine bays? There similar but clearly not the same.

The N55 is used in a number of chassis as you know, but as pointed out here there are numerous differences between the implementation of the N55 across those chassis, and so the tunes are designed accordingly.

Wont work, not sure why but it also applies to the BMS JB+
Both work on F chassis only
