Front speaker not working

Hey fellas

My front drivers side speaker doesn't work. I have the HiFi setup (676)

Where do I start for trouble shooting ? Is it a amp or the speaker itself?

I wouldn't mind upgrading the front speakers only ....

Thanks !

yea so the coil probably has a cut somewhere, it's about time it goes. so turn up the music, the hit the door close to the speaker a few times and see if it turns on.

I have some cheap kickers I'm gonna try and fit in there. they were like $20. 4" speakers work. check YouTube, research google. if u have deep pockets, go with bavsound I think it's called.

Bimmertech Helix 82dsp kit and a set of Jehnert Slimline
speakers to replace the fronts. (Floors and Doors)
If you buy the 82dsp from Bimmertech you have eliminated the second salesman inline Bavsound.
If you buy it from Helix and can tune it you have eliminated both.

See audio build sticky at top of page for idea's

and/or

Focal has direct fit replacements as well. I just did my fronts. I have the HK system for what it's worth.

The jehnert xe 200 floors are warm accurate and or audiophile
quality . I don't know about there doors . Focals are known to be
bright and harsh.
I would talk to Don at unexpected creations about this.
