TPM Malfunction
So I recently acquired a 2008 E90 M3 from a buy here, pay here type lot and the only issue with it was that it had a TPM malfunction light on. The dealer told me the front right TPM sensor was new and needed to programmed. Little did I know there is no coding required..should of done some research.
I bought a Bavarian Technic Diagnostic tool and scanned the car and got some codes for the TPM system (see upload) I ended up throwing a right front TPM sensor at it crossing fingers to no avail. I started doing some more research and found the RDC transmitter in the wheel well is a common culprit for throwing these code, particularly 6050. Any kind of confirmation I can get before buying this module? ![]() |
