DTM, interesting that your rear suspension heights left and right are identical? I think E9x were 'designed' with the right side lower than the left to account for the weight of the driver (in left-hand drive cars).

I've never been sure if that imbalance was done via different length springs, or more likely, built into the body itself.

Yes Satz, rears are the same at 605mm, FR 608mm, FL 618mm.
And from reading numerous overseas websites and owner comments, it seems to be a normal thing.

I got a quote for Bilstein B14 this week - $2200 delivered. BMR quotes $2090 (+ delivery presumably).
I will wait till you post your impressions of the STXs.
