I too have B6; and, in my opinion, they are stiffer than many other struts/shocks I have driven. Clearly, suspension settings can be largely personal preference, but even with the same components, there's room for dialing in a feeling you may prefer. For example, I noticed with the B6s that I'm MORE sensitive to tire pressure. For me, in my car, 34-36PSI feels pretty good. 38psi, however, gets way to bumpy for me. Perhaps tire type and pressure adjustments would help even in NY/NJ..
