We all know BMW has the best looking car on the grid, but I don't think it'll be quick enough to keep pace with the front runners - especially with the balance problems they're still trying to control.
I think Williams will be a team to watch out for again as well.

Ferrari will win the Constructors, Hamilton will win the Drivers. And yes Williams is the sleeper, they had a good car last year and they're steadly improving year after year like BMW Sauber is.
I think it will take Alonzo and Renault a year to get back on track. Honda and Toyota need to get their acts together or just get out. Just 2 years ago honda was a front runner after they got rid of Villenuve. Now they're just terrible. Just when you thing toyota is turning the corner things just go backwards for them. Force India should concentrate in reliability their first year becuause can't win if you don't finish the race. Red bull can make a decent run this year but we'll see.

Yeah, this will be a development year for Renault. By '09 Alonso should be back to the top.

I always pull for BMW, but I think the "ICEMAN" (Kimi Raikkonen) is going to repeat again and Ferrari should take the constructor title again.

I'm lookin forward to this season but I want teams to finish the race. Teams want so much speed but speed will do you no good if you don't finish the race.
What good is it to blast away the field the have your engine crap out or have hydraulic failure after 10 laps. Reliability is just as important speed.

I'm not complaining... if BMW isn't out front, I'd rather it be Ferrari.

I've heard BMW Sauber took a more radical approach this year w/ their car, and it has not panned out so far. I hope that's not the case.
I still think Ferrari will have the best car, and Kimi will repeat. With no traction control, all that driving in snowy, icey Finland may help him out. Also anxious to see if Ross Braun has been able to do much with Honda. They can't be much worse than last year! As long as McLaren doesn't win I'll be happy. I'm so excited - 2 weeks!!!! Btw, if you ever get a chance to go to an F1 race, do it. It is fantastic. Much better in person. |
