Looking at a car in Houston, Anybody Help?
Hey all, I am looking at an F10 535D at a dealer in Houston:
DN Motor Cars. Is anybody familiar with this dealer? Is anybody close enough and willing to drop by and take a look at it before I fly from Atlanta? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Kevin |

Make sure there is no flood evidence.

Thanks, For sure...I've looked at the flood maps and their address was not in the area of flooding, and they indicated zero cars that had water of any kind.
Just wanted someone to take a quick look at the general condition. The car is still under factory warranty. |

Looks like the reviews for that dealership are pretty horrible.. and I would be extremely cautious with those dealers.. you can still end up with a flooded car with “clean” title. I don’t know what your budget is but I saw 2 weeks ago a grey 2014 535d with 40k miles for $34k (I think) at BMW of West Houston. If I were you would skip the shady dealership and go with something more reputable.

I for sure will not end up with a "flood car" my brother owns a dealership and he will be checking it out with me if we decide to go to Houston.
All I really need is someone to confirm the general condition prior to flying to Texas. I have been looking for a bit and this one is equipped just the way I want it. |

Give address please. It may be close to me. Is it in Friendswood? That is suburb south of Houston that sustained Heavy flooding.
EDIT: never mind, this is up by loop 610. |

Get the VIN and take it to a BMW dealer to Chad m the service history on it. It'll list all the problems it had. Usually the service bay guys at BMW are helpful. Just tell them u're looking to buy the car and wondering about it.
Did this with a 4k mile used BMW for cheap price, turns out it had a shit ton of problems, dodged an big bullet for sure. |

Looks like a nice car and at a nice price. The newer diesels seem to be more reliable, and its still under warranty. As long as the car hasn't seen significant water, and the accident damage has been well repaired, I'd say go for it.
