CIP 20.1 and v2.x ID3 Tags

I have the Logic 7 non-IDrive audio system. Since upgrading to CIP 20.1 my deck will now display MP3 CD information (Title and Artist) for files with v2.3 ID3 Tags.

No more converting ID3 tags to v1.x to get them to display track info.

This is great news. Does anyone know if this applies to iDrive as well?
