Moly coat for valves/egr?
Hey Guys, I'm prepping to do the CBU walnut blast on my car and was thinking of ways to keep that carbon from sticking again. Has anyone thought of spraying the valve ports and the inside of the EGR valve body with Moly coat? I was thinking that this might keep the carbon from sticking. Thoughts?

what about the EGR paperclip trick or EGR block off plates? and/or oil catch can?
reduce exhaust soot (if that is the proper term) and oil mist from crank case ventilation from mixing into sludge. but if you do anything with your EGR without coding it you will just have a nice SES light hanging out on your dash. |

You are in kalifornia. So unless you have the hookup at smog you get to deal with the CBU.
You could do the paperclip method for normal driving and then reset the SES and put it back to factory when you have to smog. Or better yet leave kalifornia ? |
