Refinished 313M's, who's done it and has pics?

So I called around and not many people are willing to even touch these as they said they'll never match the factory finish.. I have found one place in Miami that said $100/wheel to factory refinish, so just figured I'd see who's done it and what was the outcome?

Thanks!

I’ve done them in black, both paint and powder coat

Not the factory colour though

Which one gave you better results..?? I was gonna do them black and than have the surfaces of the split-5 spokes diamond cut to match the factory finish on them..

Paint seems to be glossier and smoother, but not as strong and shows swirl marks from washing. It also chips if you change tyres and they aren't careful and get rock chips as paint does (Nothing bad)

Powder coat seems to be much stronger, and a little more textured, not as glossy but still not matte by any stretch.
Heres some closer pics

I would powdercoat if I had the choice.

First painted pics, then powder coat, the last painted pic you can see it in direct sunlight and the swirl marks.

The very last shot of my car from the side, rear wheels are paint, fronts are powder coated, you can't tell the difference.

PAINTED

POWDER COAT

PAINT ON REAR POWDER COAT ON FRONT

They definitely look darker painted, as opposed to powdercoated.. Which one held up better to the elements of nature???
