White Smoke From Front Of Engine

What would cause white smoke to come from the front of the engine. After driving in the city (1.5 miles) 0-35mph. Once i stopped i saw white smoke come from the front vent of the v35 hood.

Could be a coolant leak, white smoke usually equals coolant. I had white smoke from under hood when my radiator started leaking.

probably your valve cover gasket is leaking oil into the hot manifold and is creating that white smoke. Does it smell like burned oil? or it can also be your oil filter gasket too...

You stopped on top of a lit cigarette someone tossed.
Get the car up to temp and pop the hood to look around for signs of coolant or oil leaks. Report back after your super sleuthing session and let us know what you come up with. Waiting on edge of seat...

Likely a blinker fluid leak.

Too many things and impossible to diagnose with such little information.

Check your radiator or hoses.

Does it happen when cold or just when the engine warms up/coolant expands?

Ha; seriously, drive that car, check all fluids and look under the hood when it's at operating temp... I'd GUESS hose, or radiator given it's in the "front" but you gotta look..

You did open the hood and look yes? where it comes out the hood is here nor there. if its from up front its probably coolant leaking somewhere. if its coming up from around the engine itself, especially the back where u cant see its often a leaky valve cover gasket dripping periodic oil.

Yeah, but it's all icky and gross under that hood thingee. Much easier to have anonymous internet forum posters diagnose and fix it, no?

White smoke is generally coolant. If it smells sweet it's coolant. You should know the differences between burning coolant smell and oil smell. Anything in the front could be radiator, water pump etc.

My guess is VCG leak!
Oil tends to drop on exhaust and burns up causing a plume of smoke.
