The car reflects 80, but Tq reflects 75(ish).

This is at a constant rate of speed on the 2 hours return drive.
+ 1 on checking your thermostat. FWIW my speedo is also about 5pmh optimistic with needle (cruise control) set at 80, waze shows actual speed of 75 and my OBD2 app shows 74mph. Personally hoping that when I go to larger rear tire in summer 265/35/18 or even 275/35/18, it will show closer to actual speed.

Yea - I'll have the thermostat changed and new coolant replaced when I upgrade the IC.

You can code the cluster to show actual speed.

I'm recommending people to use top gear solutions for remote team view coding; don't code with Carly, for some reason I don't trust it after hearing about numerous failures. IMHO.

So after these 1/4 mile drag runs, what's the real world impact of the aftermarket intake? Can we get a direct, same-day, A/B comparison between stock and aftermarket intakes?

I'm wondering if this would really help my stage 2 JR tuned car or only the heavily modded cars. it's a lot of pennies to drop for unverified results.

I believe a Dyno test offered positive increases over the stock box with tuned cars.

It's been very verified on the dyno Which means in real world conditions, with air being forced in, the results will be even better....

With scoops you'll gain a full second in your 1/4 mile times

You can code the digital speedo and code it un-corrected (real speed). The actual analog speedo can not be un-corrected. I would love to code it real, but so far I have not seen a way to do it.

Is this the same kit as the ATM kit? It looks exactly the same and I would rather buy from iaknown due to past experience. Just curious....is this still for sale?

Same thing. A certain forum member is now the owner of ATM.
