Cobb AP data logs

Is there a particular place where we can post our data logs to get help understanding them and to have some questions answered? Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

This does a pretty good job explaining the basics. I would also go back to old posts and look at other people's logs and see what issues are being discussed. If you look at enough of them, you will start to understand what a good log looks like.

He is talking about Cobb logs not JB4 logs.

As far as where to post them on E90post this is the correct section. Upload your log to datazap.me and be sure to note that they are Cobb logs.

Awesome, I'll link to the datazap table.

https://datazap.me/u/757-n54/07-335i?log=0&data=1

It won't let me upload the data log itself though.

This is the first Cobb log I have ever seen but it shows you were not flooring it during this log. Boost, timing, and AFR all look fine. Can I ask why you decided to tune with a Cobb AP?

*Edit*

If you drive a 2007 335i you have a N54 engine and should actually be in the N54 section. This is the N55 section.

Sorry about the section, I didn't even notice. What told you that i may not have had the peddle to the floor?

I didn't decide to tune with the Cobb by choice, it came with the car when I bought it and I'm just trying to learn the ropes so to speak. Thank you for your help so far!

Since this is the first log I have seen I don't know if Cobb shows 100% when floored so if you're sure you were flooring it I wouldn't worry about it. If you weren't flooring it then the log is pretty much useless. The best log is done in 3rd gear from about 2,500 rpm to redline, shift into 4th gear and stay on the gas for another 2 to 3 seconds.

I made the log based on an instructional video Cobb released, it was a 4th gear pull from ~2500 to redline.
