I am planning on swapping my manual-adjusting seats to an electric/power seats. The question is..is it possible? and if there is any topic related to it, or so. Please tell me, thanks in advance

The electric seats plug into a power supply and sensor harness that runs under the carpet and connects to the cars head unit

You can certainly install some powered seats but without the harness to connect it too, its a bit pointless

Installing the harness is not something I know of anyone doing

Any idea if you can swap non-sport e92 seats for sport seats with the electronic side bolster adjustments? Do you need a new harness for that?

Want to piggy back on this thread so i didnt have to start a new one....

I have a set of sport, heated, lumbar, electric, memory, etc, from a non lci car. (08 335) i want to put them into a 11 328.

The 11 328 has lumbar, electric, memory.

I want to make sure the bolsters, heat, lumbar work. The new car has everything but heat and bolsters, but is a LCI with non LCI seats..??

I know a meachanic who will assist me, but i want this to go quick and smoothly. I want to have all parts and a semi plan to the swap.

Anyone done this..?? ive searched and found lots of seat swap threads........but no one doing anything like this.

Seats will fit no doubt. It's the electrical s that will get ya. You'll certainly need to look at wiring diagrams for both cars and setup.
