Inexpensive wireless backup camera options?

Looking to add an inexpensive wireless backup camera to one of my cars. I'd like to go the mirror monitor route.

I know there are a couple good models for around $110, but I'm cheap so I'd rather not spend that if I can avoid it. Any of these $40 or so varieties any good?

......or, you could just use the mirror.

The mirror won't allow you to see a small object or child near the rear bumper, which is why the camera is now legally required on all new cars sold in the US.
