Can anyone tell me the improvements if I update my 2011 Motion Nav to the 2017-2 version?

Is there any huge changes less the new roads etc, ie new functionality or anything?

Possibly, 2017-2 got some proper lane guidance on pro nav, might have made its way into this somehow although I was using split screen to see it and don't think you get split screen. To be honest so many roads have changed in that time seems mad not to upgrade especially when it's almost certainly doable for free...

I'll have to go for it then I think .... I'll have a look about for some offers first before I rush to BMW then.

Map data can get below from looks of it, I'm expecting can generate fsc code to load using fsc.exe with the map code from within the map data folders. Got to be worth a try and totally free now and future map updates if it works ok. Never tried a motion though, if different I'm sure someone will be along to correct me and offer help. See the other 2018-1 and 2017-2 threads on here, all the info, files and links you need are within them...
