Map sensor location
Guys when we talk about map sensor on our cars, do we talk about number 16 in the first picture listed as Temperature sensor air or number 7 in second picture listed as Fuel injection system-pressure sensor ?
Always thought it was the first one. Or is it actually different on eu cars? seems unlikely |

Never heard of a "map" sensor. The DDE decides which of several "map's" to use depending upon a set of values. Those values include temperature (IAT - 16) and airflow. Actual airflow is determined by the Mass AirFlow sensor (MAF); perhaps that what you're thinking of? I believe that it's integrated in the throttle (mounted on the EGR valve, I believe.)

Anyone did cleaning or exchanging of MAP sensor?
I cleaned it today and found it very hard to get it back into the hole, there are no screws or anything of that sort. It appears to be just pull and push back Anybody knows if its supposed to "click" back in? I did manage to get it pretty much all the way by repeatedly pressing down on it but still feels like it could go a tiny bit lower into the o ring. anyone? |

It’s just a rubber grommet. Push it In and you’re done.
