I've been running Cobb stage2+, which blocks the o2 codes from showing up. Failed emissions last week (of course).

I will be installing the vrsf dp fix before my next emissions test attempt.

Do I need to switch maps back back to stage 1+ which does not block the codes, in order to pass In IL? Or Can I leave it in 2+?

Thanks!

I'd go back to stage 0/ stock.

Really? With an fmic and downpipes installed you'd suggest cobb stage 0 tune when utilizing a dp fix to pass emissions? Just want to be sure.

Yea, nothing wrong with running stock boost and ensuring you pass emissions.

I'm curious about this as well. Does the vrsf dp fix work on cobb stage 1?

Just revert back to stock map it's the ideal way to do it. Can it work on Stage 1 or Stage 2 maps, is a question for someone who's done it but I know Stage 0 and Stock maps work for sure.

Stage 2 maps have the codes disabled and will never let cats go ready even with a DP fix. Stage 1 maps do not, but going back to stock or Stage 0 is always best to avoid anything else that may be turned off in other maps.

Quick follow up - threw these in set to 5 o'clock, changed to map 0, cleared codes, then drove for about 70miles over the course of a week. Purchased a cheap $15 scan tool off eBay, verified readiness indicators were all active, and passed emissions with no issues.

Quick question - any harm in leaving these in indefinitely and turning them "off" by setting to 11 o'clock? I'm lazy and don't want to be pulling wires again, so if I can just turn them off and then back on again for next emissions test, that would be ideal.

-thanks!

IL dont allow even 1 not-ready? just curious, because I passed mine, just by re-flashing my e25 map, and doing a drive cycle. Had 1 nor-ready, but VA allow that

They supposedly do, but I had cleared codes right before trying the first time which f'ed it up and didn't want to take any chances.

Every time you delete codes the redness go away. You don't need DP fix to pass emission in IL as I told you in the other thread.
