I honestly think it is from all the suspension upgrades I have. Subframe bushings, lockdown unit especially.

Yes, 135i 335i 1M with manual transmission. Will also work on E36 and E46.

A flat driveway shouldn't be bad. Support the car on jack stands and the trans with a jack while you R&R the bushings. Much easier on a lift though.
