EGR delete isnt street legal anywhere.... but places without inspections will be more lax, and more open to you approaching a mechanic for a mod on a "strictly track-only" car

Meanwhile, with CA SMOG, you're screwed every year, unless you live in a no-smog zipcode or reverse your mods for every smog check, OR get a set of mods tunes etc. that hide the deletes and successfully bullshit the OBD port scanner they use for smog checks....or pay bribes, that seems to work in some places too


PS Do note that modding out emissions equipment on a public highway vehicle is a FEDERAL FELONY everywhere in the USA

However.... CA smog for diesels does NOT measure tailpipe emissions at all, just OBD computer numbers,

so if somebody familiar with the testing protocols made a program/device that feeds believable and passing but utterly fake numbers to the testing station....
