hi guys i have a 2010 e92 with cic and pro nav with hifi system and bluetooth and usb also built in hdd, i cant seem to get album art to display when playing music via bluetooth, also when i get a phonecall there is a small contact id photo that sometimes appears in the top left and it hasnt updated some of the pics. any ideas? my friend had bluetooth audio and he could get his album art up

From my understanding the Album art only works when plugged into USB or the 6NF dock on CIC.

Does your friend have BMW apps?

As for the photo, I think it needs to be within a certain size spec, don't quote me on it.

Try lowering the resolution - it may do the trick.

This is possible '13 M3's have bluetooth with album artwork.

I myself and trying to figure this out myself as well.

I have enabled various functions in the CMB & CIC yet to find a solution. I think the CIC has to be on C1A.

Album art via BT is not possible on CIC, only when hardwired via lightning cable or USB.

Photos while on a call work for me now. I deleted all contacts stored in the car - they come through via Bluetooth.
Album art doesn't work over Bluetooth on CIC as far as i know. '13 M3's would be the same so dont see how ?

I want apps for this but I'm Ver c08 CIC
