I am looking for aftermarket shocks/struts in excellent condition (less than 50,000 kms).

Please let me know what you have: model/brand, front/rear/both, # of kms, age, condition, price, location, etc

Nothing that is leaking, noisy, lost pressure, excessively rusty, etc. Will buy pairs or full sets.

Thanks, Gerry

Just buy a set of Bilstein B4s.. They're cheap and work great under stock sport springs.

Thanks for the feedback. I've got a quote for B4's for the rear at $100/ea but having trouble finding the fronts - any leads? Thanks.

If you don't mind waiting for a few weeks, I will be upgrading my OEM shocks. 2009 xdrive 335i sport susp, 110k, no issues.

Thanks, but I am looking for a set with low mileage (ie under 60,000 kms).

If this falls through and the suspension is compatible with the pre-lci (xi) cars, I'll take them.

Pretty sure the xDrive sport package doesn't come with specialized sport setup, from what i remember hearing they come with a more Comfort soft suspension even if you have sports package or not.

Correct me if im wrong though.

AFAIK, that is correct; but I think the original post has since been modified. Originally, I believe the OP was also looking for OEM struts/shocks.

To my knowledge, the xi sport pkg consisted of 18" alloys with sport seats and various trim bits.

BTW, I have since done a R&R with Koni sports and no other suspension changes. The fronts didn't feel much different than the OEM struts that I took off. When I did the rears, I also installed Powerflex upper strut mounts (poly) and that seemed to noticeably improve the tightness in the back end.

Thanks to all for any feedback. I found Bilstein B4 OEM replacements for my xdrive in the fall. Hence I updated the original post for aftermarket gear. However, I ordered Koni Sports for the rwd last week so I should be set for awhile. Next might be coilovers for the 135 but I don't think 3 series parts work on the 1 series due to different weights/rates. |Gerry

Depends. The same Koni yellows from a RWD E90 are listed as compatible with the E82.
