UPDATE: I am just got all six injectors replaced along with plugs, I am picking up my car tomorrow.
I clearly remember when I swapped my plugs about a week ago they did have a strong odor of fuel, specifically the ones that were mis-firing (4-5-6) This is NOT a DIY, I think injectors are around $300+ each!!! and since I had mis-fires in 3 cylinders they replaced all six....$2,000 in parts alone!!!!!! |

Well I had this problem on the mornings and the dealer told me there is a campaign because of malfunction of the Piezo injectors, so I thought they were going to change them but they end up changing the software and a oxygen sensor and till now the car is running great

I have a 2006 330XI . . . problem with cylinder #5 misfire . . . I replaced the injectors, plugs, coils, fuel pump/regulator (bitch to replace). It's as if the plug is not there (it is). I swapped the coils to one of the others and still on #5. I don't know what to do . . . when I took the plugs out a couple were pretty bad. The only thing left is to swap the plugs with one of the other ones. #5 is not getting a spark apparently since when I disconnected the coil there is no difference.
I was driving to work and #5 (I think) failed and the car ran as if a coil went bad. But just as I pull up to my driveway, it stopped. It took a few minutes for the car to throw off a code. I don't know what else to replace? |

I just had cylinders 123 misfire and the codes indicated bank one 02 sensors. I took my tune off and the problems went away. Time for a new tune, but first new plugs and coils since they are due soon.
