does anyone know the info for this cluster codeing?nobody seems to have it

[QUOTE=phozenstone;17187833]Got my m3 cluster retrofitted today and wanted to give Dan B. a shoutout for the fast turnaround time with the coding and shipment back to me. Literally took less than one week turnaround and that's with the holidays inbetween. Was such an easy transaction I shipped him the cluster, gave him my cars info (vin, mileage, etc) and he sent it back to me he same day he received it. He even shipped me a kcan cable and offered remote coding if any errors arose once I installed it. Well I installed it today and had no errors whatsoever. Everything works perfectly as intended and looks great. PM me for his details if you wish to have your m3 cluster coded as well.

Lights get signal from DCT tranny. No way to get them to work even thru coding.

Only way they will work is if you have DCT

Shift lights don't come from DCT but from the DME and from those reasons it won't work on any non M car.

Funny, cause I got my info directly from Dan & he stated the signal came from tranny. In fact, he actually made a prototype emulator module to send the correct signals so that the lights would work - only thing is, it was bulky (needed refinement to be more compact) & pricey - he didn't think anyone would buy it for the price he would have to charge...

I have no idea who Dan is. I have m3 cluster myself since 2013. Research the subject if you want. I'm almost 100% certain that signal comes from DME. Sure, you can trigger it with differently but doesn't come from the DCT. Same with the progressive steering on M cars. The valve solenoid on steering rack is manipulated by the DME.
