E92 Going to LCI tails question, Euros or American spec

I’ve read numerous threads about LCI tail light swaps. But a few things I’m not sure of and would appreciate some opinions on. And also some other questions.

So far I’ve collected 3 out of four Oem Lci tails in American spec. I’ve already bought the retro plugs/harness. Ecs tuning shows the same plugs as being specific for the Euro lci lights only. Possibly meaning they won’t work with my American spec tails?

This brings me to my next question. How happy are people with Euro Oem tails, do they look better? I’ve read they appear slightly pink compared to US Oems. I’ve heard that the Oem euros look really good. And also are harder to obtain

If you have pre-lci, you need harness to use lci tails.

Euro outer tails have amber turn signal light.
US outer tails have red turn signal light.

Inner tails are interchangeable (same part no).

In the US, turn signal can be red or amber but in some countries amber is required by law.

US red tails look better IMO.

Euros look better IMO. Wish I could grab a set, but they are $$$.
