Sorry to bump an old thread, if you guys are opening your lights, you should replace the lens with a clear lens. It will really increase color and output.
If you are looking to seal back up your lights, I would highly recommend Butyl glue: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/acc...bber-glue.html |

Bump! Interested in this as well. Or anything really that's short of importing some E90 headlights from Europe since that seems like overkill...

I have taken two different sets of e90 headlights. One set had the amber piece separate and the other set the amber was all one piece with the rest and impossible to separate.

you could try painting them if the orange piece doesn't separate. Or check ebay maybe?
