Quiet high pitched vibration between 1.3 and 2k rpm

It sounds like it's coming from the steering column / dash and I cannot find the cause. There's been no performance hit, no steering problems, and everything else is running normally. The sound also happens when in neutral (I have an auto) but gets the loudest around 1.5k rpm.

It started happening around the time after I replaced the vacuum tubing leading to the rear turbo, and my wastegate rattle is seeming like it's louder, so that could be the cause.

No, the brake pads and rotors still work fine.
