Ron claims to have a veto over the Honda engine, unfortuantely for Ron , Honda agreed a contract with the FIA that they would be able to supply just one team in the 1st year providing that this increased to a 2nd team year 2 and a 3rd year 3.

Haven't read the magazine, but those quotes from the boss of RedBull about Renualt is pretty unbelievable. Have they forgotten who helped them to win 4 world championships in a row?? Or just how much history Renualt has in F1??
I'm done been a RedBull fan, they can leave F1 and go do what they are good at, selling caffeine lased carbonated fizzy pop to teenagers, which last time I checked wasn't all that hard to do compared to developing a F1 engine . Last edited by gangzoom; 11-03-2015 at 11:42 PM.. |

You are only as good as your last race, but bitching about them is rather childish. Why would another engine manufacturer want to be associated with a team like that. Red Bull used to be one of the more popular teams, now most people seem to hate them.

So Ferrari should have quite F1 ages ago since they haven't been able to win a world champion for years...What about Williams, McLarean, Force India...Infact pretty much every team on the grid apart from the guys winning. For as long as I've followed F1 one team has always been dominant, but nothing lasts forever. It's not about how you win, it's about how you pick your self up and work back up to the top. Clearly for RedBull they feel they deserve some of kind of special treatment compared to eveyone else. Sadly mouthing off about your partners in the press like a 5 year old having a temper tantrum doesn't help build an image of a grown up and professional buissness.....I have no idea why any engine supplier would want to work with RedBull now, Renualt has been unbelievably quite on the matter, deep down I bet they cannot wait to run a mile. Reminds me of the behaviour of a certain football manager of a London club, the two even seem to share a common colour. Maybe RedBull will try football next Last edited by gangzoom; 11-05-2015 at 12:26 AM.. |

You implied that Red Bull should stop moaning because Renault used to build good engines, whereas I, and presumably Red Bull, believe their admittedly laudable history doesn't make up for their abysmal performance this season.

I would hardly call it abysmal, Honda maybe, but not Renault. Yes they are down on power compared to Mercedes and Ferrari, but Red bull acting like they have is what I would call an abysmal performance.

It was always my understanding that the Renault V8 lumps in the championship winning RBR were always under-par when it came to power. Yes, the won 4 championships, but mainly though interpretation of the aerodynamic rules rather than the donkey in the back.
Whatever happens next year, let's hope it's more agreeable than this. |

I've never heard of an F1 team making so many excuses for not winning and it's never Red Bulls fault, always the engine or the tyres or the fuel or the rain........
Horner is such a politician, even when his drivers have blatantly broken the rules or behaved like dickheads, he will blame someone else! Helmet Marko is a nasty piece of work if Mark Webber's book is to be believed. Looks like Ricardo has crashed their new 2018 car during a demonstration run. Horner when asked, said is was 'speculation'! What a cock! It either happened or it didn't. I hope they produce another draggy car with poor top speed and get beaten (again) by the likes of Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren. |
