Hey All,
My USB and Aux in my console has stopped working (the 12v cigarette power outlet next to it still works). All other audio functions work (including bluetooth). Any ideas what is wrong or how I can fix this? Is it a fuse? Some background, around the time it went it out ... 1) my battery was going bad and constantly losing the time or all out dying and 2) at one point I got an SOS malfunction error, but that went away on it's own. The battery has since been replaced. Thanks in advance!! |

In a US 08 the USB come through the Mulf 2 Hi module
and also passes through a USB Hub at least in an Idrive car. You could try finding the fuses for those. USB Hub = F13 TCU or ULF =F26 or F59 not sure on this one. If you have SOS you could have both a bluetooth TCU and a Mulf. Last edited by ctuna; 02-02-2018 at 12:46 AM.. |

Aux input, bluetooth and SOS call stopped working
My Aux connection stopped working along with my Bluetooth and SOS call displays a warning light at start up. This happened about a year ago, everything else works and seems to be fine. Biggest headaches are the loss of hands free calling, aux input and the SOS warning every time I start the car. On the Idrive the AUX volume is shaded out grey. Any advice?
I purchased a used TCS controller for in the trunk but I am worried that changing it out will make the situation worse, I don't want to lose the radio or navigation. |

it is seems that fuse which powers tcu and mulf in trunk died because aux and sos functions are on different modules until 2010/09 man date

Hi! Sorry for the bump
![]() I have e92 335 XI made for NA region and my aux and usb wasn't working since I bought the car. I changed the socket for aux and usb, wiring looked ok. However I couldn't get it to work, I even got the Y cable :P Do you guys know what fuse is responsible for this socket in armrest? Or is it just connected to the radio (it is bmw professional logic 7 without navi)? FYI I have it normally on radio display Radio/CD/Aux settings and while on aux I have checked the volume but all I can hear when turning it up is white noise. While I'm connected to the socket (usb + aux) - the usb port is not charging my phone. Do you think is it the fuse or some wiring got old? Thanks for any responses! |
