Need to obtain some BMW Individual Paint (SMB) for project

I'm trying to paint a race bike to match a sanmarino m3 anyone had any experience in getting individual paint without having to pay the huge aftermarket tag?

It's just paint, the code is B51, any paint supplier will be able to mix it, won't cost any more than other metallic/pearlescent paint.

+1, if you want it to match completely then go find an SMB car, pop the hood and see what they used as primer/base coat

Yeah I've got the paint code (I'm matching my san marino f80) but several shops have said the pigment for individual colors has a horrible price jump just because it was individual.

SMB is not even BMW Individual exclusive. It was a standard color for the M6.
