PIAA bulbs vs predator ice question
whats up everyone, im kinda new to the forum. i just decided to register today because i had some questions, but i have been reading these forums religiously for the last few weeks just drooling over pictures and making lists of what i want to buy for my car when i get it...sooo much information on these forums, its incredible.. i cant stop reading everything on here.. well im graduating college in may so im buying myself a new car.. hopefully i should get it within the new few weeks.. im looking to get an 06 325 black and loaded with everything. i wish i could go for a 335, or even a 330 but i cant really afford the extra money for it and the increase in insurance... im kinda ballin on a budget here, haha. and i want to have extra money to buy rims and blacklines etc.
well heres my question on something i am a bit confused about after reading all about headlight replacements...(assuming i have xenons) what is the difference between buying replacement high and low beam PIAA headlights to get that crisp white color, and buying a predator ice or LUX kit??? is it actually the same thing.. because whenever i see PIAA bulbs its got pictures of the actual bulbs, and looks like you just pop in the new bulbs.. but the predator ice looks like its a whole kit that goes into the headlight and it doesnt look like a bulb at all.. so im just a bit confused on the difference and exactly what i need to buy to get rid of that orange color in my headlights.. thanks in advance.. and please no search fuction nazis, i did attempt to search for an asnwer |

a pic of the car? i dont have the car yet, im hoping to get it within the next few weeks..i think i said that in the beginning of my post? i was just confused about the whole process of turning the headlight color from orange to a crisp white.. so if im understanding correctly... predator ice, and lux kits are for the xenons, and PIAA bulbs are used for the standard headlights???

To clarify about the ICE system, it is a full replacement high powered LED based module that swaps out your stock halogen version for a xenon white setup. It replaces the entire stock lighting module with a plug and play version so the install is rather straight forward.
