New to e93, couple of questions

Hi,

After owning e36 for the best part of 15 years i have just picked up a 2010 e93.
I have had a few problems with it, stop start didn’t work, the roof wouldn’t complete a operation, noise through the speakers to mention but a few, BMW have fixed them all without hesertation.
I have a couple of questions which I hope someone can answer ( I have read the owners manual!)
The car has the feature (I don’t know what’s it’s called) where when you open the door the window goes half way down to allow better access, but how do you turn it on and off?
I can not get the windows or roof to go up or down via the remote, but I can get easy access into the boot to work, any ideas?
I can not get cold via through the vents, a/c does not seam to be doing anything, thoughts?

The car does have 12 months warranty, but I want to check it’s not me being stupid before I ask them to look at it!

I'm assuming you've held the open button down for a good few seconds and the windows don't come down?

Typically if you hold the open button down the windows come down, if you continue to hold the roof comes down but you have to keep on holding.

If you double press the open button,it lowers the drivers window when you open the door.
You cannot close the roof via the key unless you have comfort access or you fit a 3rd party module as I have done.

You probably need to buy Carly and an adapter. I changed my roof options without a third party module and I don't have comfort access.

You can drop the roof via the key fob but can't close it. 99% of the time when I need to close the raise the roof I'm already inside the car. However being able to drop the roof is the key feature so that as your walking towards the car the roof can be coming down.
