I wouldn't trust a local shop over Lux's site. I also wouldn't have a local shop try to install them, unless you give them the Lux instructions and tell them to follow those.

No LEDs in the LCI e90s. All halogen from the factory.

I am trying to install the Lux H8 180's on my 10-2011 335i e90 with xenon, but the OEM connector of the bulb does not fit to the lux connector. Any idea's?

The LUX aren't OE so it happens sometimes with aftermarket parts. Mine was the same way.
