Installing coilovers at 100K, anything else needed?
Guys,
I've been pretty happy with my BMWPS springs and Koni yellows but am making the switch to coilovers as I need ride height adjustability. Going with the TCKR SA kit as it is Koni based and reasonably priced, with good reviews and customer support. Spring rates 350 front, 600 rear. I know that I need to get new tophats for the GC camber plates and new rear upper shock mounts, as they are both different sizes from what I have now, but would like to know if there is anything else I should replace at this time. Harold at HPA said the kit has everything I need, but since I will be paying for the install I'm wondering if anything else should be relplaced due to wear and tear at 100K miles or to save on labor costs while the car is in the shop. Current suspension mods: BMWPS springs and bumpstops Koni yellows Dinan rear upper shock mounts GC camber plates E93 M3 front sway bar M3 strut tower brace M3 front upper and lower control arms M3 rear guide rods and wishbones M3 subframe bushings BMW group N toe arm bushings Thanks, Robert |
