what causes suspension bucking?....

for lack of a better term, what causes a car to constantly "buck" side to side and front to back?

i have a 2013 335xi and the stock suspension used to do this alot but in a different way

since i have replaced the shocks/struts with koni yellow (still using stock xdrive springs), added uuc sways front and back and dinan camber plates, the car drives and handles amazing on smooth roads

but the second i push the car on even slightly uneven roads i get either front to back bucking but mainly side to side bucking

what causes this? can i stiffen the rebound and control this a little? i have them set at about 1/3 from full soft

any input would be appreciated

Sounds like not enough rebound damping. What kind of car do you have? E90, E92?

e92 coupe xdrive 6mt stock xdrive springs

i was hoping that it was rebound related, i am running the shocks at around 1/3 from full soft and it feels like i have pogo sticks on each corner

smooth roads, car drives and handles ok but the second the roads get uneven the car bucks side to side and badly from front to back and back to front

maybe turn them to 1/2 from full soft?

The problem is the Yellow.

That's it. Change that

Your symptoms sound like underdamped springs, people with completely blown shocks would have the same ride. Idk about the settings, but I'd try going half. Search "Koni Yellow setting", I remember seeing threads about this when I was going to go with Konis.
