Fuel rail pressure drop with cylinder 5 misfire
I made a new thread because many of the symptoms of the previous thread have been addressed with a replaced Valve Cover Gasket and this is could be completely unrelated.
I have a misfire in cylinder 5 after new coils, spark plugs and new VCG. I test the pressures in my fuel rail which hold steady at: High: 55 bar Low: 5 bar Then when the motor is shut off the high instantly drops to 4.5 bar and low remains unchanged. Upon restarting the motor, the high pressure jumps to 170 bar and comes back down to 55 bar. I’m guessing a leaking injector is the culprit to all of these issues, I just would like to be reaffirmed in this. |
