I'm very biased. I've put 22k mikes on my cpod Macan as (warranty through 2022) it's been amazing. It is the drivers car for sure. Yearly oil change and service is the only time I've been at the dealership. Love when they say "see you in a year" because in my Porsche experience it's been true. I do think the new RDX looks very nice and my friend may be getting one but has to be the Macan for me.

I am not sure that the reward of the Macan GTS is worth the cost difference factored over 5-7 years of ownership.
Macan GTS is a way more appealing car. However, I'd rather have an RDX. Get the 8 year 120k warranty for like $1300 while you are at it. More peace of mind financially. I'd also drive it for 8-10 years while picking up a fun car when deemed financially responsible. Said fun car should offset the lack of pizzaz that the GTS would have given you. |
