Hello,

Recently I swap the dome light bulb to Philips 194 LED. When the car is on. The LED only stay on 6sec and shut down. When the car is off the LED stay on without any issue

Does anyone know what is the exactly value I have to change for the interior bulb PWM check? I was playing with PWM_IB value without luck and was guessing probably another PWM value I need to change

Bump. Has anyone been able to code the car to accept led interior lights? I really don't want to put a resistor in.

Dont know what the Issue is but I have been using bimland perf interior light for about a year now. It never had any auto shut off issue. I assume the car cut power off to the done light, but I'm not sure what causes it.

No clue, but there is a BMW accessory kit that gives you LED and there are some vendors with BMW specific retrofit kits.

I'm curious why you (and people in general) swap out the courtesy lights for LEDs. I don't mean to say you shouldn't, I'm genuinely curious. Is it because they are more efficient, so you can leave them on without killing your battery? Is it because you're experiencing the incandescent/halogen burning out often?

I'm wondering why this is even a mod; the stock lights seem to be plenty bright, without being blinding at night, plus they have a nice neutral color tone. What am I missing out on?

Similar topic: I just lost a taillight bulb. The datecode on the bulb base is 2007, so it was about time they go. Any reason I should replace with LED?

They are brighter, last far longer, have a nicer color and give the car a more modern look.

I did not do this on my car for efficiency. I changed all of the bulbs to LEDs.

Halogen is not bright enough, especially the trunk light, I couldnt find things in the trunk sometimes because its too dark

I simply did it because I hate the yellow light output. Mine are not brighter, I wouldn't want that. I simply wanted a soft neutral white tone to the light output thats it.
