Turning on daytime running lights . 06 e90 330i
Hey guys.
Can you tell me if I have an option in my dashboard menu to turn on daytime angel eye lights ? It's a late 06 e90 m sport . Also would it be ok for the angel eyes to be on all the time ? Will this not drastically reduce life etc ? Or burn out ? Cheers |

Pretty sure you can do this from the button on the indicator stalk and scrolling through the menu on the dash. That's if you don't have iDrive. It's pretty easy. Did it on my 56 plate 330d that didn't have nav. No issue with premature burn out.

Still need help please from anyone ? There’s an option in my dash menu (non I drive) with the indicator stalk, I turn it on , but it turns on headlights as well instead of just halo rings ? Anyone else just turned it on all the time ? Shall I leave it on perm or just leave on auto setting when it gets dark ? Cheers

I tried doing this on my 06 330d...unfortunately there isn't a way. You can only have the angel eyes on all the time if you set it so your main headlights (dipped) are on all the time too through the stalk. You can't have just the rings on as DRLs. It is only available on cars either from 07 or 09, can't remember which.

If you have FRM1 then you need something this:
https://www.distantxtremes.com/daeos...-harness1.html Or just upgrade to FRM2 or 3. Get a used one of eBay and it'll just need coding. |
