N55 plug change- plug well
Hey guys I did my plugs and coils on my 2011 335 with 37k miles on it.
Had originally Delphi coils, replaced them with the Newer coils bmw uses (from turkey) forget the name and Oem plugs - When I removed the plugs I noticed this black residue in all the plug wells- I’m thinking it’s from the plugs as I was removing them ? I vacuumed them out easily before installing the new ones. Car is running smooth and Aweosme ! Wasn’t running bad before, but at times noticed a weird hesitation cut out if jumping on the gas off a stop- it’s gone.

Changing coils at 37k is overkill. I just hit 74k and did my second plug change as well as coils. At 74k the coils looked healthy. In my case I used Bosh coils and plugs, since they are also OEM.
Oh this is for a car that had never been tuned. |
