Hi, fairly new to the BMW scene. I want to attempt some coding, starting with my TPMS. Can I run INPA or NCSE with my Bavarian Technic cable? I bought that first based on a suggestion from a member here but the Bavarian Technic software dosent seem to support coding. Thanks in advance for the help

The Bavarian Technic cable can only be used to run their software, or the BB Flash utility. You will need a K+DCAN cable to run Standard Tools programs like INPA or NCS EXPERT. The good news is the K+DCAN is much cheaper. $20 gets a serviceable one shipped from China, or $50 gets the excellent Bimmergeeks cable shipped from Georgia (the state, not the country).

Thanks. I'll look into what the BB flash is.

Is there a difference between the China made and Bimmergeeks cables?

BB flash is only for flashing and reading the DME, not coding.

The difference is quality, speed, guaranteed, and accountability.
