boost gauge install

Got this image from HyperM3's DIY.

Is this the best method to tap into for boost?

actually NO...

sorry man the best is to have metal clamps.

I've worked with plastic ties long enough to know sun, temp change , excessive heat will cause these to fail.

go to the hardware store and grab a couple of clamps.

I am also confused about where to tap into the boost line. I have seen other methods that use a 4 way splitter.

I wish we had a DIY that was a little more clear of how people have done this with pictures showing how they ran the tubing into the cabin.

Potty_Pants: can you show me what type of metal clamp you are talking about?

Thanks!

He means like this.

I just liked zipties cus they are easy, cheap and accessible. Plus they are not supposed to last me that long since its a lease and Ill be taking it all apart within a couple years.

the stock vacuum t's have no zip ties or metal ties, they are just friction fiit because of the little lip on the T... its a pain to pull those suckers off

I think duplicating the stock method of just a properly sized T is sufficient

I will be doing a DIY as I write my install instructions for my guage pod kit... (which includes everything you need)
