2011 E92 328xi - help registering TPMS module
Hey All,
Have had the "TPM malfuction" error for quite sometime now. I decided to tackle fixing this so I can get rid of the yellow light on the dashboard. I have entered my VIN on www.realoem.com and have purchased the part from www.ECSTuning.com. The partnumber is 36106868194. There is no TPMS module, there is only one RDC. The RDC cost ~$280 from ECS tuning. It was located behind the fender of the rear passenger wheel, and even after I replaced it, the "TPM malfunction" error is still present. Reseting via the iDrive does nothing. I have driven it for about four days now (at least 100 miles) and issue is still present. I do have Veepeak wifi OBD2, but Im not sure which software would be able to help me read the exact codes, and register the the RDC. Keep in mind I do not have a laptop, so I would need to do this via an iPhone. If veepeak and iphone option will not work, what will? Im located in NYC area, and am willing to drive and pay somebody to help me do this. I have looked all over for an answer but was not able to find it. For informational purposes; My car is the 2011 E92 LCI 328xi production date 09/2010 - engine N52N ~97,700 miles Cheers, mastarron Last edited by mastarron; 04-27-2018 at 10:14 AM.. |

You need NCSexpert or Ista-p to do it. If you do a search for RDC or search the threads that started you will find a thread I started on how to do it.
