This is your best bet. You pick which car you want and how many laps you want to do.

Pricing wise, you're going to be looking for awhile to find a better/cheaper deal than here. Price ranges from $289 for 7 laps for the cheapest car and upwards of $589 for 7 laps for a Lamborghini Aventador LP700.

Their website is actually quite user friendly and even has pricing for each car and automatically adjusts to however many laps you want to do.

A woman I spoke with said that 5 laps takes 10 minutes (this is actual driving time) so I hope that helps.

OP isn't looking to fly anywhere. He wants to stay local, so the Gotham Tour would be the best value. 3 hours of driving for $1,200 and you drive six different exotics. It is without a doubt the best bang for the buck.

To get 3 hours of drive time in Vegas it would cost you about $3500 for the cheapest car or $7000 for the Aventador.

After something like that, he has to blame something, because I'm sure it was not his driving skills. Personally, I would be crying along with blaming the tires, and everyone else.

I hope hearing that exhaust note through the tunnel was worth it.

Last time I checked summer tires are better in wet weather. I’m guessing he’s trying to blame ground temperatures not being ideal for driving like Mario Andretti.

Just drove a 911 GT3 this weekend with Xtreme Xperience. It was a lot of fun but I probably wouldn't do it again. First of all, you have an instructor in the car with you, which is fine, but at one point I started to push the car a little bit harder and he asked me to keep it closer 7/10ths (they will fine you if you repeatedly ignore their instructions). Second, my wife got this for me as a gift and found a deal on groupon so it was only half price. It was fun, and the GT3 is an amazing car, but for the same price I signed up for a track night in America where I can push my car as hard as I want to, and I get 10 times the seat time

When I was driving the F430 Scud (my favourite car BTW) in Vegas, I was putting two wheels in gravel sliding sideways nearly every lap. Instructor loved it. Guess it REALLY depends on the instructor though.

Even the 458 I overheated the brakes after only 4 laps. Guess they should have gotten the carbon brake option.

Last time I was there with a friend, my wife overheard the instructors saying "Watch out for those two, they are really fast".

Wow that sounds awesome! Yeah definitely depends on the instructor and the company. For 2 wheels off track the company I did it with would charge you a nonrefundable $200 inspection fee!

These "experiences" are a tough sell IMHO. They are going to be dealing with people who just want to drive a fast car instead of people who want to learn how to drive fast properly and there is a BIG BIG difference. The general public just wants burnouts and drifts, hard pulls, big smoke and big noises. They don't car about apexing, brake zones, and shaving time etc. they don't care about learning the cars limits and straddling that line, they care about going past the limit and having fun. It's about WHAT they are driving instead of HOW they are driving.

That's all fine and dandy, but it sounds like the instructor put you in the same box with the general public and didn't want you crashing their precious supercar. Frankly I don't blame you for not wanting to do that again. Who wants to play make believe in a supercar when you can hit the track in a car that you can drive more than a few times and actually make progression with? Exotics are for the rich and the highly skilled. It's just wish fulfillment and at the end of the day you climb back into whatever you drove there with nothing more than a memory and maybe some photos and gift shop Knick Knacks. Maybe I'm old but I'm over it. I'd rather learn how to drive a car at its limits than 7/10.

Was this also through Xtreme Xperience? Sounds like a lot of fun!

I've done a few in the North Texas area, back when I was a journo.

The last one I did back in early 2011 included:
- Maserati Quattroporte
- Audi R8 V10
- Lamborghini Gallardo
- Ferrari F430
(Side note on the last one: business owner had one of the first 358 Italias in the country at the time in the garage. That's how much pull this guy has.)

Sticker price was a little less than $2k.

Tour lasted all day, driving back roads southwest of Fort Worth. You got about 40 minutes of driving time and 40 mins of seat time in each of the four cars. My final car was the Gallardo. I drove it, then my car-mate drove it -- during which the Gallardo threw a rod bearing at Rosedale and Beach in Fort Worth, which is where we sat for nearly two hours for the company's flatbed to arrive.

Trust me: You do NOT want to be stuck at Rosedale and Beach in Fort Worth at dusk, then after dark, in ANY car, much less a $200k exotic.

That day ended up being exhilarating in more than one way, that's for sure ...

Sorry I didn't think of this before. It seems that the exotic car route is just a bit too expensive.

If you want the best bang for the buck, I'd say go to the Bertil Roos 1/2 Day School.
You drive a F2000 car for two 20 minutes sessions (0-60 mph in about 4 seconds and real aero). So that's 40 minutes of track time for less than $600.
