e90 Alarm Retrofit Question NCS Coding
First, let me start with a simple question. The BMW Alarm system from the factory comes with an audible "beep" when unlocking and locking the doors, correct? I have done all the steps I can find online to code/install this thing, but yet it doesn't beep when locking/unlocking.
So far have done the following: 1) Added $302 to the VO in NCS to both the CAS and NFRM 2) After reading that I needed to "restore factory settings" after adding it to the VO, I proceeded to clear out the .MAN file (using the Manipulation profile) in the WORK folder of NCSEXPERT, select the CAS and NFRM (individually), choose CODIEREN as the job, and execute. Get out and hit the lock button... nothing 3) Read that I should have manipulation off, so I made sure to choose a profile with it unchecked. Follow the same steps as #2, and nothing What am I missing here? Any help is great. Last edited by NCSUPack24; 04-23-2018 at 10:16 PM.. |

Forget Clearing out your MAN file. Just use expert mode profile then select SG_Coderen. If $302 doesn't help. You will need to use +K302. This is what worked for my car. I coded (Expert mode) CAS, NFRM, JBE and then Alarm modules.

2. Write to CAS and FRM 3. Default code CAS, CAPPL, DWAI, DWAS and KOMBI 4. In DWAI, Code FUNK_INNENRAUMSCHUTZ (Interior Sensor) to Aktiv |
