Possible to combine lug nut key with drive socket?

In the past two years I have lost 2 lug nut keys because I forgot to remove the lug nut key from the wheels. Is there any way to fuse the lug nut key and the drive socket together? So when i remove the socket, the lug nut key comes off with the socket.

Please do not make comments like "Just don't forget about it"

Something to think about... locks don't really stop wheel thieves. My take is that it's more inconvenience to you in the long run that it is to potential wheel thieves.

Some companies should make wheels GPS
Where I live thieves are not very smart they always target cars with no wheel lock.

Another possibility is pipe solder.

Clean both the key and the cup of the wrench with a wire brush first then you can solder the two together with a propane torch.

How about stick(epoxy) a small neodymium magnet in the socket. The socket will still be functional and you know the key will pull out with the socket after you torque your wheels.
