335i 2009 front splitter removal
Hi,
Does anyone know how the OEM front splitters are attached? I have a very damaged splitter that I would like to remove but do not want to damage the bumper. Hoping heat gun or some product can be used to break down the glue (assuming they are glued). Splitter came on the car as part of M Sport kit. Thanks in advance. Daniel |

I see what you mean
That is a mess I'm guessing these are glued or double sided taped in place Not sure how you can get them off without damaging the paint underneath Buy a replacement set before removing the old ones At least you can hide any damage under the new splitters Otherwise a great excuse to upgrade to M3 rep or M1 front end  |

If they were installed by BMW they most likely used Betalink.... Not easy to remove but having your splitters already damaged makes it easier for you. Be gentle, use a plastic scraper and some heat to soften it a bit prior to trying to remove it. Take your time or you will pull the paint from the bumper.
